You need someone who can run infrastructure — not someone who only runs it

Running infrastructure does need a person at times.
But renewing certificates, wiring backups, setting up CI for every app, entering database credentials — work that repeats the same way every time — does not have to stay with one.

Keeping a separate infrastructure hire for that is inefficient at any size of company.

tidoly hands the repeating install, connect and operate work to the platform.

You do not need new servers either.
A VPS, a machine in the office, a mini PC at home — install tidoly on the infrastructure you already have.

It does not remove the work that genuinely needs a person. Capacity planning, security review, incident analysis, architecture decisions and support for the open-source software itself take judgement and experience, and they stay with people. What tidoly removes is not the person, but the repetition there is no reason for them to carry.

Applying does not fix a price or reserve anything. When billing opens, applicants hear first.

What we do not provide

tidoly is not a managed cloud. The servers and the data stay yours; what tidoly automates is installing, connecting and operating the applications that run on them.

Fully air-gapped networks — an environment with no internet at all is not supported yet. Verifying a licence and pulling images need outbound access. A segmented network is supported, where a firewall allow-list opens only what is needed.
Support for the open-source software itself — what tidoly guarantees is installation and wiring. How a piece of software works, and its bugs, follow that project’s own documentation and community.
Servers and hardware — we neither supply nor rent machines. It installs on hardware you already have: a cloud instance, a VPS, a server in the office, a mini PC.
Holding your data — this is not managed hosting, so your data and its backups live only on your servers. tidoly keeps no copy of them.

The servers are yours and so is the data. What tidoly provides is the PaaS layer on top.
